Nancy worked for 23 years with young children in the Chicago area. She considers many of these children, her brother and daughter as major influences in her art. After leaving the preschool setting, Nancy pursued works on paper and 3-D boxes embellished with toys and recycled materials. Her media evolved to pen and water-colored drawings. The smallest works come from a series of sketchbooks. A short story may accompany a drawing; sometimes a story stands on its own.
